These terms govern your use of the OliveTree — Global Logistics & Advisory platform ("the Platform"). By creating an account, you agree to them.

1. What the Platform is

The Platform connects Seekers (exporters and importers) with Providers (CHAs, customs brokers, freight forwarders, marine insurers, NBFCs, certification bodies, trade consultants and related service businesses) operating in India's foreign trade ecosystem. We provide the marketplace, matching, and workflow tools — we are not a party to the underlying freight, customs, insurance, financing, or advisory contract between a Seeker and a Provider unless explicitly stated.

2. Accounts & verification

• You must provide accurate information when registering and setting up an organization profile.
• A "Verified" badge reflects that an administrator has reviewed at least one submitted KYC document — it is a trust signal, not a guarantee of a Provider's quality, solvency, or performance.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential.
• We may suspend, blacklist, or terminate accounts that provide false information, engage in fraud, or violate these terms.

3. RFQs, bids & awards

• Seekers post RFQs describing a shipment or service need; Providers submit itemized bids.
• Awarding a bid creates a shipment record and is the Seeker's commitment to proceed with that Provider — do so only when you intend to transact.
• Any token/escrow amount shown at award time is a platform bookkeeping figure and does not itself move funds unless a payment is separately completed.
• The Platform does not guarantee the accuracy of any bid, HS code lookup, duty/RoDTEP rate, or other reference data — verify critical figures against official government sources (ICEGATE, DGFT) before relying on them.

4. Payments & subscriptions

Paid features (such as Provider subscriptions) are processed through our payment partner, PayU. Fees, when applicable, are shown before you pay. Subscription payments are billed on the cycle shown at checkout; cancel anytime from your billing page to stop future renewals.

5. Advisory & consulting services

Where the Platform facilitates a paid or complimentary advisory call or meeting with our team or a listed expert, that session is for informational and business-setup guidance only and does not constitute legal, tax, customs, or financial advice on which you should rely without independent verification. Scheduling a call does not obligate either party beyond what is explicitly agreed on that call.

6. Prohibited use

• No fraudulent, misleading, or illegal listings, bids, or documents.
• No circumventing the Platform to avoid applicable fees where fees are disclosed.
• No attempting to access another organization's data, including KYC documents, without authorization.

7. Liability

The Platform is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, OliveTree — Global Logistics & Advisory is not liable for losses arising from a transaction, service, or advice exchanged between Seekers and Providers, or from reliance on reference data (HS codes, duty rates) shown on the Platform.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
